IDS Course on Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation for Learning Held in Belgrade

As a local support organization, INES had the privilege to collaborate with the Institute
of Development Studies (IDS), UK, in the organization of a comprehensive five-day
training course focused on Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation (PMEL) for learning.
The course aimed to strengthen participants’ capacities to design and implement
effective monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems using participatory and adaptive
approaches. The training was facilitated by distinguished evaluation experts – Ms.
Marina Apgar and Mr. Steff Deprez, who brought rich experience and practical insights
from the field.
The event gathered 18 participants, primarily representatives of international
development organizations and professionals working in various areas of international
cooperation and evaluation.
INES is particularly grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this important initiative
and to have our team member, Mr. Marko Pešić, take part in such an inspiring and
practice-oriented training. The experience and knowledge gained will undoubtedly
contribute to further strengthening our organization’s work in the field of monitoring,
evaluation, and learning.
