The founding assembly of INES – Independent Network of Evaluators Serbia – was held on March 7, 2024, at the premises of SeConS – Development Initiative Group in Belgrade. The event marked the official establishment of a professional network dedicated to strengthening evaluation practices and promoting a culture of evidence-based decision-making in Serbia.
During the assembly, members unanimously adopted the Statute of the network, outlining its mission, goals, and organizational structure. INES aims to connect evaluation professionals, foster knowledge exchange, and advocate for the use of high-quality evaluations in public policy, development programs, and civil society initiatives.
The formation of INES reflects a growing recognition of the importance of independent, methodologically sound evaluations in enhancing transparency, accountability, and effectiveness across sectors.
